Learn how to choose (or build) the right training plan for YOU. In this workshop, we will discuss the basic building blocks of a training plan, including: Base Building, Injury Prevention, and Strength & Cross Training. You will leave feeling more confident in your ability to balance your training appropriately to remain injury-free and see progress over time.

The workshop will begin with a 30-minute fun and easy group run on the Stower trail in Amery. Then, we’ll head to Amery Ale Works for a beer/soda (included in your registration), along with a presentation and Q&A.

Strength training is an important part of any running program. However, for many of us it can be difficult to figure out what to do and when to incorporate it into our training. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of strength training for runners, some key exercises to do, and how/when to add them into your training schedule.
